Terms And Conditions for Life of the Party Dress Hire
“Rental Period” means a 4-day or 8-day hire or agreed to period that the User booked the dress for. "Rental Period" starts from the day the dress arrives to User's delivery address. Dress MUST be returned by mail on the agreed end of Rental period by 12pm on that day. Dress MUST be sent back in the express return satchel provided to the user and posted over the counter at the closest Australian Post Store. This allows us to track the delivery back to Life of the party dress hire as the barcode is scanned at the Post office. If the dress is not sent back on the day the hire ends. A $30 per day late fee is applied.
If you select pick up as your delivery method you MUST select a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. If you need to pick up on any other day this must be arranged prior to placing your booking.
Bookings online for pickups must be placed a minimum of 48 hours before hire date. If your event is less than 48 hours we ask that you visit us or email at email@example.com to confirm availability.
We are responsible for the cleaning of the item. User shall NOT attempt to clean the garment under any circumstances. User authorises Life of the party dress hire to charge an additional cleaning fee (from the credit card details provided) to the value of our judgement for any heaving stains. Life of the party dress hire reserves the right to charge the User 100% of the recommended retail value stated in item description. User authorises Life of the party dress hire to charge the card provided. Failure to do so will result is debt collection.
Life of the party dress hire will inspect the garment before posting to the User. The User shall inspect the Dress on delivery and within four (4) hours of receipt of the Dress notify us (by phone or email) of any alleged defect or damage
If there is damage to our garment resulting in value loss, damage meaning we are unable to hire the garment, repair costs, The User gives us permission to charge the credit card provided at the time of hire. In the event that your credit card/debit is declined for any amounts that you owe to us, and you do not pay those amounts to us via another method, collection of your debt will be pursued.
If the User does so, Life of the Party Dress Hire will charge you 100% of the RRP. The customer will also pay loss of business (any pre-booked booking fees that can now not be fulfilled) and loss in value of item. If the dress gets lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair, whether or not such loss, theft, or damage is attributable to any negligence, failure, or omission of the User then the User will be liable to pay 100% of the RRP stated at the item description at Life of the party dress hire website (or if no RRP stated, the general RRP by the designer) minus late fees that the User has already paid OR replace the item in immaculate/new condition within 7 days.
If your dress does not fit, Please notify us on the day (no later) you receive the dress by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to see if we can offer you a credit on the dress (minus postage costs) or if you would like us to send another dress.
CHANGE OF MIND
We do not offer refunds, store credits or exchanges for change of mind.
Local pickup; If you have taken the dress from the boutique after a 2 hour period we can also not provide a refund. A credit to the dress hire value will be applied. The dress must be returned unworn and in the same state it left our premises in.
We DO NOT provide refunds if you book and haven't allowed enough time for a dress to get to you. You have changed your mind or your event has been cancelled. You will be credited with a store credit. We supply the User with a store credit note that is valid for 12 months. Shipping fee paid is included in this store credit.
RENTAL PERIOD & LATE FEES
The garment MUST be sent back by 12pm on the last day of hire rental. A post receipt MUST be sent to Life of the party dress hire before 12pm. User MUST only post the garment back via the post office from the state it was sent too. If the User has not returned the rental item(s) within 7 days after the return date, Life of the Party Dress Hire will consider the rental item(s) as non-returned and will charge the User’s credit card 100% of the recommended retail value stated at item description minus late fees that the User has already paid. The rental fee will not be subtracted.
If dropping off the dress to the store. This must be done prior to 6pm on the day the hire ends. Life of the Party Dress Hire has a $30 per day late fee for any dress that is not returned on time- (Ie,the day the hire ends)
Life of the party dress hire typical delivery method is Express Signature operated by Australia Post. User bears the risk of delivery. Order will be shipped timely to arrive on hire date (same day or day before). The rental period starts when the courier first attempts delivery.
Life of the party dress hire store credits are valid for 12 months. In case of an unforeseeable event Life of the party dress hire can cancel store credits (e.g. store stops operations) without refunding. Credits are not combinable with promotional codes. Store credits cannot be sold.
We reserve the right to exclude individuals from our hiring service. The laws of Australia govern our Terms and Conditions.
